This Is What People Are Saying About
"Collaboration...A Short Film Contest"
Collaboration Team,

On behalf of IndieClub South Florida, we just wanted to again take the time to thank you so much for all your work with the "Collaboration..." short film contest. A great number of our members have written to let us know what a wonderful time they had participating, and how much they gained through the entire experience.

On a personal note, speaking for Jose, myself and everyone who worked on Team Jacho's entry, I know that our group came away with a film we're all very proud of and an experience we will never forget. And we are just one team out of hundreds. The "Collaboration..." contest, as well as Eincubator as a whole, really does provide local filmmakers with amazing opportunities.
You do our film community a great service. And without your personal hard work and dedication, we'd be at a loss. So thank you. We just wanted you to know all your efforts are not gone unnoticed.

Best,

Kate Avery

Suze,

I just wanted to personally thank you and the eincubator for coordinating and sponsoring the short film contest you have been running the past 8... years. I'm not sure if you remember Team Mathey (Skylar Mathey student director) who participated in previous contests and won 2nd place in 2003 (The Twits) and 1st place in 2004 (Mental Pictures) in the student category.

Skylar was interested in film prior to his participation in the short film contests and was having a difficult time finding a way to get involved or get experience. The contests, participating, winning, galas, etc. really took him to a new level of interest. He attended the NY Film Academy in Boston for 1 week the Summer after he came in 2nd place and he attended the program again for 1 month the summer after he won 1st place. He since has been accepted to NYU in Manhattan attending the Tisch School of Film in the fall.

I think we owe a great deal of gratitute to the eincubator for helping him achieve this level of success. Of course, if you want to use any of his previous short films from the contests, you are more than welcome. Just let us know what we need to do to help.

Best regards,

Rick Mathey
