Entertainment Industry Incubator

WELCOME

The Entertainment Industry Incubator, Inc., is a 10 year old, award winning, Florida not-for-profit, 501(C)(3) small business and arts incubator, dedicated to furthering the growth of local entertainment based businesses, organizations and individuals.  The Incubator is a facilitator and clearinghouse for information and resources in order to help produce and promote the development of local talent for artistic and economic gain (not unlike an entertainment industry chamber of commerce).  More importantly, we provide resources, information and training to media artists and filmmakers in our community.

For more than a decade, the Incubator’s programs have evolved in response to the needs and requests from our very diverse community. As a result, the organization now holds regular networking breakfasts, hosts a series of seminars, has a weekly e-newsletter, maintains a community based web site, acts as a fiscal agent for grant applications, runs a mentoring program for high school students and has produced two award winning, annual events, both of which are designed to flush out and showcase local talent to the community and to senior industry executives in order to help the artists further their career goals. Those are its award-winning, Collaboration…A Short Film Contest and its annual music video challenge, MVC.

As a logical extension of these two signature events, the Incubator encourages further local industry expansion through assistance with fiscal issues as they relate to project development and distribution. It also is interested in assisting with the very real situations that confront our industry in the age of digitization.
